A decade on from its sell-out screenings at Borderlines, when it won the Audience Award for top film, here is another chance to see this entertaining and warm-hearted film. Portraying the showmanship and characters that gave the cattle market its vibrancy, it’s packed with archive footage and photographs. Enjoy anecdotes galore with tales of romance, traders juggling china, Miners’ Fortnight, royal visits, Tom Jones and runaway animals as well as brand new footage that revisits some of the original characters ten years on. The screening on Thursday will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers and interviewees.
