Love Season

Over the past few seasons, we’ve had different themes tying together the shows at The Courtyard; We’ve seen a War Season, Diva Season and a Page To Stage Season, and this year we’re feeling the Love!

In our brochure, all of the shows included in our Love Season have this icon:  

This means that when you buy tickets to any two shows with the heart symbol, you’ll get 10% off!

Here are a few shows we’re feeling the love for:

I Loved you And I Loved You, the extraordinary true story of young Welsh composer, Morfydd Owen, who died in mysterious circumstances at just 26. It charts her rise from humble beginnings to great success and her tumultuous relationships with both the man she married and the man she loved.

For children, we’ve got the oh so cute, How The Koala Learnt To Hug… Based on the bestselling book from Steven Lee, bring your little ones to this charming family musical full of stories, sing along songs and first class hugging!

We’ve gone back to our swooning teen years over The Robbie Williams Experience – The fantastic Robbie tribute (who also did a stint in Hollyoaks!) will be performing all of Robbie’s hits along with a live band!

The classic comedy love story, Pygmalion will warm your hearts! Watch Henry Higgins attempt to make a lady out of uneducated flower girl, Eliza Doolittle while enjoying brilliant music from the 60’s!

That’s Amore is a hilarious, fast paced, passionate and poignant piece of physical theatre which explored the vast world and culture of romantic love: from chance encounters to hidden desires, emotional extremes to the science of romance, it discovers the philosophy behind what makes our hearts beat faster.

We bring you another delightful Christmas children’s show this year, Hansel & Gretel! This funny, energetic family show will get you into the festive mood as it revisits the classic tale of mystery, intrigue and magic this Christmas.

Last but not least – the ultimate highlight of the season is our infamous Pantomime, and this year it’s Beauty & The Beast! Beauty’s Father sees a beautiful rose and picks it to take home. Little does he know that the master of the house, a fearsome Beast, has decreed the penalty for picking the roses is death. The Beast promises to spare the father’s life if his beautiful daughter comes to live with him at the castle. But what will happen to Beauty and will she ever find true love?
