We have been ‘See It Safely’ approved

We have been granted the use of Society Of London Theatre & UK Theatre’s ‘See It Safely‘ mark. The mark certifies that we are complying with the latest Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, to ensure the safety of our staff and audiences. Requirements of the See it Safely scheme

  • Your venue will follow the relevant Government guidance in relation to the safe return of audiences to venues, in particular the DCMS Performing Arts document and you fully understand how this applies to your operations
  • You have a nominated employee who is responsible for checking, understanding and implementing the relevant guidance
  • You have completed a Risk Assessment for your operations specifically related to COVID-19
  • Your employees have been consulted and trained on the COVID measures which you are planning to implement
  • You are implementing the current government social distancing measures
  • You have reviewed the number of visitors you are able to welcome at any one time, whilst maintaining the current government social distancing measures and you have implemented procedures to ensure visitor numbers do not go above this level where necessary
  • There are procedures in place to encourage and communicate social distancing measures and wearing of face coverings. (e.g. floor markers, signage)
  • In areas where there is a high risk of transmission by touching surfaces (e.g. entrances and exits), you have considered making available hand-washing or hand-sanitising stations
  • You have considered the particular needs of different groups of workers or individuals when making COVID adjustments. (e.g. socially distanced queuing not covering accessible entrance points). It is breaking the law to discriminate, directly or indirectly, against anyone because of a protected characteristic.
  • Where it is not possible to maintain appropriate social distancing, you have closed off areas where necessary
  • You will collect contact details for the lead booker and/or will use NHS Test and Trace
  • You will follow our Ticketing Principles (where this is viable for your venue)
