We have put together some of the best resources we could find around Staying at Home and staying as creative as possible, whilst living with dementia.
As always, some of the best resources can be found through Alzheimer’s Society. They have put together some helpful FAQs:
Rachel Freeman from Everybody Dance, who usually runs our Spectacular Tea Dances for people living with dementia, has recorded a short seated dance session in her garden for you to follow.
This website is designed to use music to help people with dementia reconnect with their most powerful memories. BBC Memory Radio is also available on BBC Sounds. Just search for Memory Radio, and on smart devices – say ‘Alexa/Google, ask the BBC for Memory Radio’.
Independent site that provides guidance on accessible touchscreen apps for people living with dementia. An ideal resource for anyone affected by dementia to find and use apps on a tablet computer for entertainment.
